Southwest Chapter’s Pee Wee Picnic

Nampa Police DepartmentWater Games!Last Thursday night we had our annual Pee Wee Picnic in conjunction with other Southwest Chapter Credit Unions.  The event was held at Lakeview Park and by all accounts was a great success!  The food was good, the games were fun, and the police and firemen were a huge hit, too!

This event is just one of many examples of how credit unions are different from most industries.  How often do you see eight competing businesses come together to host an event with a sole purpose of promoting our industry and having fun?  I can’t think of too many examples.

Anyway, here are a few pictures from the evening.

It’s out of the bag!

The  Idaho Press Tribune announced its annual Readers’ Choice winners in their Saturday, May 31st edition.  Idadiv was voted BEST CREDIT UNION and BEST CUSTOMER SERVICE, or as we like to call it, MEMBER SERVICE!

Now, Idadiv has won the award for best credit union in the past, but we have never received the best customer service award before.  We are so excited to earn such recognition and want to thank all of you who voted for us.

Now comes the fun part!  We would love each of you to tell your family, friends, neighbors, and coworkers about Idadiv Credit Union.  Tell them about what a great checking account program we offer.  Tell them about our low loan rates and flexible terms.  Tell them about our friendly, personable staff members who treat you like old family friends.  Share your experiences with them.  Share our value.

From the outside looking in, most financial institutions look alike.  We all offer checking accounts, loans, online access, savings products, and check cashing, right?  Then how do each of us choose what institution to use?  We take advice from those we trust, our close family and friends.

If you are like me, you tell others about experiences you have in the community.  You talk about that great deal you got at the mall last weekend or you chat about Sally, the awesome waitress at your now new favorite restaurant.  But, do you ever think about telling others about YOUR credit union?

We think you should do just that, and we ask you to.  Why not spread the wealth, right?  Some things are worth keeping a secret, but let’s let this one out of the bag!
