Boise Music Festival 2010!

Summers in Idaho means HOT weather, BBQ’s with family and friends, the Canyon County Fair, the Western Idaho Fair, and now the Boise Music Festival. The Boise Music Festival was a great event, they had 5 stages with 40 local bands and a few big names like Macy Gray, Backstreet Boys, and Brett Michaels! It has been advertised on the radio for months and boy was that evident. Organizers of the event say they gave out over 75,000 tickets and they were all FREE! This was all because of great sponsors, like IDADIV. We are proud to say that we had a hand in this year’s Boise Music Festival. Here are some pictures I took while I was there. ENJOY!!

Idadiv’s 2nd Lunch and Learn Event

We held our second Lunch and Learn event for our new Financial Services Division on Wednesday at our Meridian branch.  Those in attendance learned about retirement trends, how to protect their hard-earned nest egg from the ups and downs of the market, ways to immunize their funds against future potential tax increases, how to identify good and bad of financial products, and tools to help make their retirement funds last as long as they do or longer. 

This is our second such event and we will continue to host these Lunch and Learn seminars each month.  I will admit that even though I have a 15 year background in financial services, I did learn several items at the seminar.  I would encourage all to attend a future event.  Feel free to bring along a friend or coworker, too, even if they aren’t a member.  We’d love to have them!

Paint ‘Em Up Cowboys Contest

The Nampa branch participated in the Paint ‘Em Up Cowboys Contest again this year.  Although we didn’t win, we still had a great time coming up with ideas, painting, and decorating the branch to welcome in the Rodeo!

Busy, Busy Day!!

Have you ever had one of those days where you start out running? Well on Friday July 9^th the Meridian Branch did. To start out we hosted the Meridian Chamber of Commerce First Friday. First Friday is a fun social networking event where members of the Meridian Chamber get together and have breakfast and mingle at a hosting business on the First Friday of the month. This month we hosted and had baked eggs, bagels, and some yummy Danish. After First Friday was over, WOW 104.3 showed up to do a radio remote from the Meridian Branch and to also hand out tickets to the Boise Music Festival which we are proud to be a sponsor of!
